Are plastic bags harmful to the human body?

The invention of plastic bags has brought great convenience to human life, but an increasing number of people don't know how to use them environmentally effectively, leading to global plastic pollution. Packaging made from polyethylene is non-toxic and environmentally friendly, while plastic bags made from polyvinyl chloride are toxic. Polyethylene plastic packaging bags are milky white, translucent, slightly slippery to the touch, as if coated with wax on the surface, and when shaken vigorously make a crisp sound. They are flammable and burn with a yellow flame, with sticky liquid droplets and a fragrance similar to burning candles. On the other hand, plastic packaging bags made from polyvinyl chloride feel sticky on the surface and produce a low-pitched sound when shaken vigorously. They are not easily flammable when exposed to fire, and the flame turns green when ignited, but goes out quickly when removed from the flame.
